  Hello Friends! Are you looking for the prettiest patio in Buffalo?! Because if so... Root & Bloom is the destination for you!
  
  The interior is beautiful as well. You can truly see the time and love them out into the decor, and it pays off! The ambiance can not be beat. Their airy covered patio out back is the stuff of dreams. The antique furniture reminds me of my grandparents cottage. There are also large cozy couches and cushioned benches to curl up on with a glass of wine or a smoothie. The menu is vegetarian/vegan, and though that is not typically for me... the dishes are thoughtful. The only thing that I can say might need tweaking is the prices, they are high ($15 for my salad of lettuce, beans, corn, and avocado). But that being said, this lovely spot is an experience in and of itself... so I did not leave feeling deterred by the bill. I can't wait to make this place a staple for lunches on sunny summer days!

  So. This place is amazing. Food wise. I have been here a few times for vegan eats and it's insane how awesome the Mac n cheese is. I still don't understand how they make it so cheesy? Ha! As a non-vegan, I would be happy eating the desserts and pasta dishes here all the time.
  
  Now, it's super cutely decorated, but you are literally sitting on top of one another (inside). There is an outdoor patio with more room, but that is seasonal. So be prepared for an up close and personal dining experience.
  
  For service, it's touch and go. I feel that the wait staff is kind and courteous, however the processes don't seem to be very smooth, which seems to be partly because of the layout and tight quarters.
  
  All in all, the food is EXCELLENT.

  Yummy cakes. Can't  believe it was vegan. It was so moist and you wouldn't have known it was vegan expect that everything at bloom and root is.
  
  Mac and cheese was definitely a difficult texture to deal with since it was vegan. A non traditional spin on mac and cheese would have been appreciated to overcome the texture.
  
  Most apps we tried were super delicious. Bahn mi was very yummy and chips were simple and did the job.
  
  Overall will try again, especially looks yummy for breakfast. Double thumps up for atmosphere. If nearby definitely stop on in for dessert.

  Not bad, but felt it was pricy for what I got. Better as a brunch spot, though it would be a good place for a late lunch or afternoon snack if there were some small menu items with single-digit prices, or to-go items. The space is really cute, but compact: if there's an fight going down in the kitchen, you'll hear it. I was surprised at the number of customers who asked for dairy or meat; then again, it's Buffalo, it's not exactly a vegan Mecca here.

  Wow a fully vegan fully flavorful fully quaint and friendly and wonderful and unique and fresh and makes me throw all  grammar rules out the window! I had such an enjoyable lunch here . Starting out with a flavorful latte. The wine spritzer was artfully done. The jackfruit buffalo wings truly blew my mind ! Who thought of this . So innovative.  I appreciate this establishment and the amazing plethora of options it offers the vegan community in Buffalo !
